What is Reiki?

We live in an energy universe. Everything is composed of energy and what we see as solid matter is not, in fact, solid at all but when studied under a microscope is seen to be composed of atoms and particles. Sounds, words, shapes, thoughts and emotions are all energy.

Every thought we think creates energy and the way we think creates what we are. Very often the energy flowing through our body becomes blocked and manifests itself as stress and ultimately, physical ailments. 

Reiki is a vibration of spiritual energy and a healing energy that we can access and use to balance the flow of energy in the body and bring all aspects (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual) into harmony. The person receiving Reiki draws the energy to where it is needed most. When administered over a period of time, it creates a feeling of inner peace and calm.
